With ‘Under Pressure [Remixes]’, Nightriders put the final exclamation point on their searing collaboration with dulcet-toned vocalist Lisa Shaw. Since its initial release last fall, the sultry and hauntingly soulful track has become one of the Boston-based electronic dance duo’s most masterful and magnetic anthems echoing influences from similar moody and atmospheric, r&b-inflected electronic artists like SG Lewis, Darius, Zimmer and Kartell,

The electrifying remix EP assembles two previously released mixes – Nightriders’ simmering and meditative “Pressure Mix” and famed UK Disco House wunderkind Yam Who?’s crate-essential “Dub Mix” – alongside three fiery new re-rubs by Grammy-nominated producer Andy Caldwell, French House duo SUPERMUSIQUE and fellow Bostonian funksters GMGN & Dustin Rosata - which highlight the song’s dynamic versatility.

Andy Caldwell delivers a deep pulsing, thoughtful and sonically sublime mix radiating with his impeccable “soulful electro-funk-house” signature vibes while SUPERMUSiQUE transforms the laidback original into a mesmerizing, delicate and powerful, trap-meets-future house burner. The set closes with GMGN & Dustin Rosata’s dexterous mix that seamlessly melds bottom-heavy tribal beats, churning electro-funk, acid, sun-soaked Balearic house and soothing, toe-tapping grooves into a widescreen kaleidoscopic trip that’s equally energizing and narcotic.
