Acclaimed singer/songwriter and veteran dance/electronic music producer Rich Morel (aka Morel) delivers a flawless suite of infectious club reworks of one of the quintessential stand-outs from his third studio album ‘The Death Of The Paper Boy'.

“Shoegazer Disco” brilliantly captures the central theme of the searing autobiographical opus: a boy’s rite of passage into manhood, the opening of his eyes to the sad ironies, disappointments, and “what-ifs” of the world, and the erosion of innocence along the way. It’s a very personal reflection cleverly cloaked in poetic metaphorical lyrics that are equally contemplative and evocative. The track is the perfect representation of Morel’s dynamic hybrid sound – a seamless fusion of gritty indie-rock, melodic electro-pop and muscular deep house grooves.

The Remix EP includes the original mix, which swells with propulsive drums, soaring jangly guitar, swirling atmospheric textures, contagious melodic piano and radiant narcotic vocals. However, for maximum club play, Morel enlists producers Linus Loves, Finnish deep house maestro Roberto Rodriguez and newcomer Fuzz Mono to transform his fiery elegy into a potent set of undeniable, sweat-inducing “emotion in motion” peak-time bangers.
