Tits of Clay are the rocking 4-piece “Angry Inch” band from the gender-bending Tony Award winning musical, ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’. Their 5-track debut EP 'Belasco' (named after David Belasco, the theatrical producer, impresario, director, playwright and founder of the Belasco Theatre, where ‘Hedwig’ was staged) is a searing nod to their collective punk and alt-rock roots done with swagger, wit, fun, angst and a little filth. The set includes inspired covers of classics by Devo (“Uncontrollable Urge”), Wreckless Eric (“Whole Wide World”), Richard Hell and the Voidoids (“Blank Generation”), Lou Reed (“Satellite of Love’) and Bob Dylan (“I'll Keep It With Mine”) featuring Michael C. Hall of ‘Six Feet Under’, ‘Dexter’, ‘Hedwig’ and ‘Lazarus’ fame on lead vocals.
