DJ/producer/remixer JamLimmat is quickly becoming one of Spain's hottest dance music exports with his commanding sound (a feverish blend of tribal-inflected deep house with progressive, electro-house and pop), contagious original works and anthemic mixes for Yoko Ono, Ultra Naté, Kat Graham and Dave Audé. For his 'Elewa' EP, he teams up with newcomer JuanJe Rodriguez to deliver a hypnotizing 4-track set reflecting the duo's rich Afro-Ibérican roots and shared love of hard-hitting, minimal deep house workouts laced with sparse vocals, moody synths, chunky bass, bouncy rhythms and percussive "hard, dark and soul" grooves.
